Confirmations and Baptisms: Sunday 12th November at 6pm. It would be great to have a full turnout from across all congregations. Bishop Graham Dow is confirming.
11am Visuals: We’d like to continue providing words on the screens for the 11am hymns. In order to do this, we need a small group of helpers who’d be willing to be trained to operate the system. It is literally clicking a mouse so not hard. Please let the office know if you can help.
The Calling: Meetings of The Calling have regrettably been postponed until further notice.
Women’s Christmas craft evening: in church on Friday 17th November from 7pm until 9.30pm. There will be lots of Christmas crafts for women to try their hand at, plus festive drinks and nibbles. Tickets are £8 per person, and we’d love you to invite friends along too. Tickets available from the office, or you can email firstname.lastname@example.org
Landrover Restoration Project: If you’d like to spend a few hours starting off this project (in Silverstone) we’re aiming to leave BPC at 10am on Saturday 25th Nov. If you’d like to join us let me know, and you can either meet at BPC at 10am and come in the minibus, or meet us up there. I’ll provide lunch. Stay for as long or as short as you like. Please contact Will email email@example.com

Waiting for Jesus: Weds 6th Dec, 8-9pm in BPC. In this Advent season, come to a warm, candlelit church and take time out from the ‘pressure’ to reflect on some of the events around the birth of Christ, through visual display, music, readings, reflections, prayers and quiet. Led by the Prayer Ministry Team. All very welcome.
Benefice Christmas Lunch: 3rd December in Nash Village Hall, 1pm (or soon after!). This is a bring and share lunch with members from all our benefice churches. All are welcome but it will be helpful to know numbers and what you can bring. We try to be a little more organised than usual, to ensure that we can enjoy a traditional Christmas lunch of turkey, etc. Please contact Judith Bundock (01280 813887 or email@example.com if you would like to come.
Buckingham Food Bank: If you wish to donate SMALL Christmas items, these will be most welcome, please donate by 1st Dec, Beverley Stockill.
Outreach Team: Calling anyone wanting to make a difference in our community. We are organising an outreach team to serve our community through social action, talking to people, prayer and food amongst others. Email George Pinnegar firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
Harvest Supper proceeds: It wasn’t a fund raising evening but it has been agreed that the surplus of £278.90 from our supper is to be sent to Christian Aid to support their work fighting hunger in countries like South Sudan. As part of CA’s Christmas Appeal, this will attract matched funding from the UK government. Thank you.
Christmas Parade: Volunteers required to help serve refreshments to those taking part in the Buckingham Christmas Parade on 9th December 9.30-10.30am. Please contact the office for further information.
